Our speed detectors use the latest GPS technology and most come ready loaded with an industry standard database of speed camera locations and accident black spots. Some even detect hand held lasers and mobile speed traps.
When you approach a fixed speed camera the unit says "Warning. Speed Camera, Speed Limit 30,40, 50 etc" and if you are travelling faster than the permitted speed, it says "Slow Down" until you've reached the permitted speed. An alternative range of beep tones can be selected if preferred. At the same time, the display indicates the permitted speed AND your actual speed. It reminds you to slow down and also indicates how close you are to the camera, the type of camera and your direction of travel.
